This started off as a little exercise – the design is from an Alaskan stamp, originally designed by the indigenous artist Rico Lanaat’Worl. It started off quite well, and then I was worried that I was going to run out of skill with some elements, but it all got there in the end. The stars are gilded with gold and palladium.
