I seem to have been doing a lot of these stones lately – maybe it’s a result of lockdown around the world!
It’s nice to be able to give something unique to mark the occasion. I usually try to get the date of birth on as well as the name.
1 of these is on sea-washed slate, which is never easy to work on, 1 on a piece of welsh black slate, and one on a bit Portland pebble picked up from a beach in Dorset – a joy to work on. The big chunky marble ones are on reclaimed marble from a Victorian bathroom.
